50 tourists were injured as 5 hot air balloons crashed in Turkey Cappadocia because of bad weather conditions today.
So no I would not and have not.

I did the exact same thing about 8 years ago. It was fantastic. There was no noise, was so tranquil and despite being over Essex, I realised just how beautiful this country really is.
As for the one in the YouTube vid, I'd be all over that.

Found parachuting a bit boring other than the good views of Wiltshire, so ballooning appeals to me, as I do like looking down at the earth from the sky.

I did a balloon flight over Essex about 15 years ago. Absolutely loved it.
Went from somewhere near Chelmsford and ended up out near the coast.

Probably will go up in a balloon before I die. It's one of the things I'd like to do, but haven't been sufficiently motivated to do yet.
I doubt I'll suddenly get fanatical about it enough to learn how to pilot one, though

Nope. Fuck that. Was interested in doing one, then a balloon crashed into power lines in Carterton 4 or 5 years ago, and have definitely reaffirmed my decision.

Love to do that, just found out about a balloon flight over London i might do.
Have done two helicopter flights over London this year with doors off, so you're harnessed in but theres no doors, it's fucking windy and freezing but got some great photos.
